3rd & 4th graders went to the nursing home yesterday and met residents they will be adopting this year. After visiting for a little bit, they played BINGO together! A good time was had by all!
Pre-K with Mrs. Landes had their harvest party today. Spider races, mummy wrapping and ghost making were all a hit. Of course snacks are always a favorite.
4th grade did wonderful with their first book club discussion! They each had a roll in the discussion.

3rd grade has been reading a book in class and finished it. Today they watched the movie and did a compare and contrast of the book and movie. Whole class agreed the book was way better than the movie! 😁
They also got to have pizza for lunch in the classroom while watching it!

Kindergarten celebrated the 50th day of school on Friday!
Painting on "magic" paper in Pre-K. We used turmeric and water as our paint. Our message was created by using baking soda and water and letting it dry before we painted to see what it said.
Pre-K learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin this week. We ended the week with taste testing of pumpkin items and seeing how many pumpkins tall we are. We also explored the inside of a pumpkin and how it feels. Their faces were fun to watch as they dug in to scoop it out.
Kindergarten enjoyed a special treat with their chapel buddies for the 50th day of school.
4th grade learned some interesting facts about frogfish this week.
