Favorite thing about St. Paul: My favorite thing about St. Paul is the family type feeling I get from the wonderful congregation. Why I’m in the ministry is because I can share the love of Jesus in all subjects I teach.

Hometown: Cole Camp, MO then moved to Clarinda, IA in 1990

College and Degrees: B.S. in Education with concentration in Physical Education also have a Lutheran Teacher Diploma

Hobbies and Interest: I enjoy all sports- playing and watching. I also enjoy art and doing crafts. My favorite thing is spending time with family and friends.

Previous Positions/Jobs/Years: I’ve been fortunate to enjoy two careers- one as a foodscience business home economist, and one as a middle school teacher. I get to bring real world experience into the classroom, helping students see the value and answer to their question, “Why do we need to know this?”
