7th Annual Trunk or Treat

Sunday October 29th                     5:00-7:00pm           Youth Ministry Center

Trunk or Treat event on Facebook

Trunk or Treat is a safe, Christian alternative to trick or treating. Several cars will line up in the school parking lot, side by side, and pass out candy from their trunks.  The children will walk around the parking lot from car to car collecting their treats.

There will be a Bounce house & games in the Youth Ministry Center along with a Hotdog, chips & drink available to purchase for $1.

Decorating the cars is a fun way to make it a little more exciting for the children, but is completely optional.  You can leave your car just as it is and sit in a lawn chair, or you can be as creative as you’d like. Some neat themes for decorating the cars are Noah’s Ark, Beach style, Camping, Sports, Movie themes, etc.  We do ask that your theme remains tasteful and God pleasing.

If you would like more information or ideas and like to assist in helping with Trunk or Treat,  please contact Aimee Riley.

All vehicles participating MUST be in the parking lot by 4:00 to allow time for decorating cars and blocking off entrances before families start to arrive.  Trunk or Treating is from 5:00-7:00, although if everyone is having fun we might not end on time.  In the past we’ve had over 300 kids, so make sure you have enough candy to treat at least that many.   Please be aware your vehicles will be “stuck” in their Trunk or Treat places until the parking lot has cleared of children.   Safety is a #1 priority!!!!

If you would like to have your vehicle included in our “Trunk or Treat” event, please fill out the form and return to either the school or church office by Oct. 26th.  Last year we had over 20 trunks!

If you have any questions please contact Aimee Riley @ 646-1677
